There are a number of public Amsterdam holidays. On these days the shops, museums and attractions often close earlier, and only a few are closed all day.
Schools, city councils, post offices and banks are closed all day. Queen’s Day on April 30 was a big celebration in Amsterdam. Sinterklaas on December 5th is also a typical feast day when everyone was celebrating at home.
Just as the New York holidays season many business buildings, schools and others who are also close to welcome the holiday period, but the tourists, both local and foreign tourists can still enjoy other entertainment.
